I’m an IT professional, a returning programmer, a lifelong reader, a frequent traveler-in-planning, and a firm believer that life is better with good books, pretty places, a little bit of chaos, and a cat nearby.
My background is in technology, with experience across IT operations, project coordination, troubleshooting, and working with everything from HTML and CSS to JavaScript, Java, Python, SQL, and Linux. Programming has always been one of those things I naturally find my way back to, which is part of why this website exists in the first place. I wanted a space that I could build myself, experiment with, break occasionally, fix again, and continue growing alongside my skills.
Outside of tech, I’m usually reading, planning somewhere I want to travel, wandering through a market, spending time outside, or collecting yet another idea for a project I absolutely did not need to start.
Books are a huge part of my life. I read across fantasy, gothic fiction, romance, classics, and whatever else catches my attention, and I have very strong opinions about all of them. This site will eventually house my reading lists, reviews, ratings, favorite quotes, and probably more book-related nonsense than originally intended.
Travel is another obsession of mine, especially places filled with history, architecture, gardens, old streets, museums, and stories. The United Kingdom has a particularly large piece of my heart, and I’m constantly adding somewhere new to the list of places I want to explore.
When I’m not buried in a book or staring at a computer screen, I love being outside—whether that means spending time at the lake, walking the greenbelt, riding side-by-side vehicles, visiting markets, or just hanging out with friends and family.
And then there’s Nutmeg, my calico cat, who naturally believes she is involved in every project I undertake. As far as she is concerned, this website is probably hers too. She is fully convineced that she own's everything of mine!
This little corner of the internet is a mix of everything I love: technology, creativity, books, travel, nature, and whatever strange idea I decide to build next.
I’m glad you found your way here.
